Haddonfield Plays and Players (HP&P) is a non-profit community theatre located in Haddonfield, New Jersey. The group was founded in 1935 and since then has produced 100’s of plays and musicals for both adults and children. The group performed in many local venues, including the Haddonfield Fortnightly, and the Kingsway Learning Center. In 1986, we built our 150 seat performing arts center where we now do most of our productions.
The HP&P performing arts center is located next to the Crows Woods Recreational Complex in Haddonfield, New Jersey, approximately 10 minutes away from Center City Philadelphia. We are minutes from historic downtown Haddonfield where you can enjoy a latte at one of the local coffee houses, dine alfresco at a sidewalk cafe or have a candlelit dinner at one of Haddonfield's many restaurants. You can shop at over 200 shops and galleries catering to visitors and residents of all ages. It's no wonder why Courier Post readers have voted it the "Best Downtown Shopping Area" year after year.
HP&P offers a variety of productions from comedies to mysteries to musicals. Besides our normal season productions we also do shows aimed specifically at children and families, as well as special productions for school groups, like our enormously successful Number the Stars.

Since 1995, HP&P has been presenting the Stage Kidz program to teach children about theatre, music, and dance in a fun and informal environment. Stage Kidz classes are offered on weekends throughout the year, and also a summer camp.

HP&P is also and outlet for local actors, directors and other artists. Auditions for all our shows are open to the general public. We are also always looking for local directors, musicians, designers, choreographers and other artists looking for an outlet for their talents.

With all this and more going on, it's easy to see that Haddonfield Plays & Players is committed to bringing professional quality theatre to the South Jersey community!
