We are celebrating our 70th season of quality, affordable, award-winning community theater! Combining traditional, innovative and cutting -edge musicals, comedies, dramas, and children’s productions we have created spectacular theatrical seasons. We are noted for our training programs and summer camp, which have introduced hundreds of area children and teens to theater arts, both on and off stage, and our annual production of the Holocaust piece "Number the Stars", based on the Newbery Award winning book by Lois Lowry, has been seen by over 10,000 students from all over the Delaware Valley.

Have you been fortunate enough to find us? Nestled in the Crows Woods section of Haddonfield among the soccer fields and Neighborhood Gardens, Haddonfield Plays & Players has been coined by newspapers as “a gem in our own back yard.” This year, the “gem” in our backyard is truly a diamond in the rough and we need your help.

Haddonfield Plays and Players is a nonprofit community theater. All of our producers, actors, directors, stage-crew, technical crew, ushers and board members are dedicated and energetic volunteers who donate their time, energy and lifesblood to Haddonfield Plays and Players strictly for their love of the theatre. We rely on subscriptions and ticket sales to keep our doors open and to continue to provide you, our audience with quality productions, which have become increasingly more expensive to produce. The production expenses for our 2006 Season are staggering. Our cozy, quaint but aging theater is in continuous need of repair and upkeep. In order to continue providing you with fabulous theatre at an affordable price we need your help.

Signed by the President last month, a new law allows donors to write off 100% of their income for individual cash donations made from August 28, 2005 to the end of this year. Donors will be recognized in our programs. Opportunities for corporate sponsorship for your organization, or business are also available. Consider sponsoring one of the outstanding shows we have lined up in our 2006 season.

If you have enjoyed our shows, please support us. Allow us to continue to bring you shows like “Rumors”, "Nunsense", "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof", "The Sound of Music", “Titanic”, "Of Mice and Men", "Annie", and "The Odd Couple."

Sincerely,
Lewis Adler
President
