A "Descendant" of This Very Stage...

Haddonfield Plays and Players has a history of working with incredibly talented young performers, and maybe none as currently successful as Haddonfield’s own Grace Narducci. Just over five years ago, Narducci “graced” this stage as Abigail Williams in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. Today she’s much better known for playing Fay, the Fairy Godmother in Disney’s Descendants: The Rise of Red. It’s truly incredible to realize the Stage Kidz of OnStage get to mount a production of Disney’s Descendants: The Musical in the literal footprints of one of the franchise’s stars.

Disney's Descendants: The Musical thrives on energy, attitude, and a clear love for the material and Stage Kidz delivers all three in abundance, committing fully to the show’s pop-infused world and balancing larger-than-life characters with moments of genuine heart.

These young performers lean confidently into the iconic roles, capturing the swagger and vulnerability that make this universe click. Vocally, the group handles the contemporary score with impressive control, while the choreography brings a punchy, high-energy edge that keeps the momentum driving forward and the audience bursting into applause scene after scene.

It’s a spirited, confident production that proves this next generation of performers is more than ready to step into the spotlight, and maybe, just maybe, another future Descendant has taken their leap towards stardom.
